Founded in 1946, the Utah Alcoholism Foundation (UAF) is the oldest provider of substance abuse treatment services in Utah. We build futures and unify families to stop generational substance abuse, child abuse, and domestic violence. This is accomplished by providing quality, affordable substance abuse treatment, education, and prevention services to those who are in need. |

The House of Hope Program is a women and children´s program that provides a continuum of care from 2.1 to 3.5 (excluding detox) in Residential, Day Treatment, and Intensive Outpatient substance abuse treatment services. We utilize best practice methodology based in the Bio-Psycho-Social modality and serve general population women, pregnant women, mothers with up to 3 children below age 10, and women working with DCFS on reunification. The program consists of the treatment center, four supportive living residences for up to 45 women and their children, and the Hope Center for Children. The Hope Center provides developmental and therapeutic childcare for up to 75 children daily and can accommodate children up to age 12 during the summer months. This program administers a family assessment and conducts family therapy along with teaching "Positive Parenting" to all women in treatment.
The House of Hope also offers aftercare |
