Cornerstone Counseling Center, a private nonprofit human service agency, was established in 1968 and was among the first formal substance abuse programs in Utah. Cornerstone Counseling Center merged with Volunteers of America, Utah, in January 2008. The combined agency, operating under the VOA name, now serves more than 10,000 individuals throughout the state. The Center’s parallel emphasis on treatment and prevention, as well as the diversity of populations served, provides a broad perspective and comprehensive knowledge base for understanding and effectively intervening.

Cornerstone Counseling Center offers comprehensive standard outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment services to adults and adolescents. Child care is available on-site on a pre-arranged basis. Average length of stay is 6 months.
