Prenatal Support Program
The Prenatal Support Program provides weekly education and skill building activities for pregnant and parenting teens. The services focus on preventing substance abuse during pregnancy and decreasing the risk of alcohol- or drug-related unplanned pregnancies or relationship violence. Skill building also addresses issues of healthy and safe parenting of infants, early child development, emotional health, and effective communication. These services are primarily offered in school settings for pregnant teems. |
|
Teen Life Skills Program:
The Teen Life Skills Program provides weekly education and skill building activities for male and female teens who already have risk factors for developing substance abuse problems due to emotional or behavioral issues. The services focus on healthy decision making and refusal skills, as well as healthy relationships, emotional health, and effective communication. These services are primarily offered in school or residential settings. |

Family Prevention Program
The Family Prevention Program focuses on prevention for children, 1-17 years old, who are at risk for developing substance abuse problems because of family history of substance abuse problems or other factors of family instability. Parents and children both take part in these weekly services, participating together in family activities as well as children and parents separating for age-appropriate developmental education and addressing issues to aid families in relationship repair. These services are primarily offered for families with a parent in treatment for substance abuse services or for families who reside in family shelters. |
