Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake has been serving youth and their families since 1968. We focus on serving girls and boys between the ages of 6-18 with special initiatives to teens, gender inclusion and family involvement. We offer after-school programs addressing educational achievement, career exploration, drug and alcohol avoidance, health and fitness, gang and violence prevention, cultural exploration, leadership development and community service.

SMART Moves (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training)

SMART Moves is a series of prevention curricula designed for age-appropriate delivery to youth groups ages 6-9, 10-12, and 13-15. Curriculum is designed for small groups in a community-based setting. Youth development staff and peer leaders co-facilitate groups that include information disseminations, games role play and a variety of active learning opportunities to deliver skill building and prevention material.
